Rebrand, Logo Design, Business Cards and Strategy

Previously known as delicious dining, a complete rebrand was necessary in order to evolve a rapidly expanding hospitality business that now encompasses its updated values and can speak clearly to their target audience.

The Brief

Operating as Delicious Dining, Managing Director Annaliese Hughes held discussions with our in-house brand specialists to help understand where the hospitality company was currently positioned within the market, where they would like to be, and who they want to attract. It became apparent that a rebrand was on the horizon and Mustang Group was born.

The Challenge

Working together with now Mustang Group, it became clear there was a disconnect between their visual communication across their 14 venues and their commitment to quality and luxury for each customer that sets foot inside their venues.

Established in 1987, Delicious Dining held a strong presence across the Southampton Marina and coast with multiple venues located within meters of one another, it was imperative that during this rebrand we didn’t lose touch with the history behind the brand and its stellar reputation it built throughout the years.

The Solution

Building on the powerful roots that made Delicious Dining what it was, it was time to align the multiple venues under one common value and identity. Possessing a staunch commitment to quality, luxury, and service, it was obvious all the venues shared this commitment, so the tagline “Individual venues, collective values” was a solution that truly encompassed the group’s overarching message.

Now we had a name and a tagline, it was time to create a visual identity that matched Mustang Group’s values and goals. Featuring a bespoke script typeface that oozes a sense of luxury and premium, the final edition of the logo went through numerous stages to reach its final edition.

We also designed a range of printed collateral from business cards to Menu cards that reflect the extra level of care and attention that is carried through from every single interaction the customer will have with Mustang Group. We used Premium weighted paper stock creating a unique surface and a hint of texture with foil to reflect the luxury and attention to detail Mustang Group has as a company.

The Result

Since the rebrand, Mustang Group has continued to go from strength to strength in building its newly refurbished brand and dominance in hospitality across the City of Southampton.

Now promoting multiple venues under one common value, it is clear to see that Mustang Group is now able to clearly and directly make the visitors and residents of Southampton aware of the location of the South Coast’s most premium restaurants.
